Dear Rio del Norte Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are excited to see our students return and welcome new families to our school community. Our dedicated staff has been working hard to prepare for an engaging and successful year ahead. We look forward to partnering with you to support your child's learning and growth.

School News and Updates

Please drop by the cafeteria after walking your student to class for Coffee with the Principal on the first day of school August 21 from 8:15 - 8:45.

Upcoming Events

Please join us for a fun community night of professional soccer on August 25, 2024 at California Lutheran University Stadium. Ventura County Football Club is welcoming Rio del Norte staff and families. See parent square post for additional information.

On Monday August 26, 2024, the team from Kindness is Free will be at Rio del Norte to hand our free backpacks, supplies, water bottles and a treat for all students. We will kick off our week with an assembly in the Eagles Nest when the first bell rings in the morning. In addition, starting this year, the school will begin each week with this same weekly kickoff on Monday mornings.

Important Reminders

There is no parking or pick up or drop off of students in the parking lot. Please leave enough time to get to your student to school every day and plan for parking your car and walking your student to the gate. If you require a disabled person space, please present or have your placard visible to our campus supervisor at the entrance.
